Erin is a digital marketer, technology journalist, and startup enthusiast. She is currently the Managing Director at Eighty-Eight, a Toronto-based digital marketing and design agency that helps companies start, build, and grow their online presence. At Eighty-Eight she leads strategy, new business, client relations, agency communications.

Prior to Eighty-Eight she was the Managing Editor at BetaKit, a publication that reports on emerging technology and innovation around the world. While at BetaKit she wrote over 200 articles about startups, interviewing founders and investors in Silicon Valley and around the world. Within months of launching, BetaKit was #32 on Techmeme’s leaderboard of the top tech publications in the world. BetaKit was an initiative of Sprouter, where Erin formerly held a communications role since 2008. Erin was part of Sprouter’s founding team, launching the social network for entrepreneurs and growing it to over 100,000 members. While at Sprouter she handled all communications, marketing, and PR, securing coverage in the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, Profit Magazine, and other technology publications.
